The VDL-CF-701 is the ideal tool for adding CompactFlash data storage ability to the VC505 programmable indicator.

RS232 data from the VC505 programmable indicator is stored on CompactFlash memory cards in a PC-compatible file format. If necessary, the VDL-CF-701 can be configured using terminal software via its configuration port. The user can also download files, display directories, delete or rename files, set date/time, and interact with the connected serial data source via the configuration port. Configuration options include: serial port handshaking/baud rate, periodic or one-time output messages, interval or file size for file closure, and time stamping.
