Virtual Measurements & Control has developed the VMC Historian software specifically to manage the data captured by the VDL-CF 701 Data Logger onto a compact flash disk.

The VMC Historian provides end users with the ability to consolidate all the data logged onto a compact flash disk to a datalog at a designated storage location with a single click. With the same console, end users can also recall or search for data from the targeted datalog whenever required. In addition to displaying this recalled data, VMC Historian allows the recalled data to be printed to a windows printer or saved to a comma delimiter file for future reference. With VMC historian, obsolete or inactive data in the targeted datalog can be moved to a designated archive storage location with its archive feature.
